How we helped our client
One of our French customer who specializes in kitchen furniture retail and wholesale was a subject to license exclusivity in France, as he could not represent and sell the brand of his Spanish supplier in France. The reason being his Spanish supplier already having an exclusivity contract of representation with another French company, a competitor.
Together with our legal team we developed a solution allowing him to sell the furniture of his Spanish partner. We registered an LTD company in Latvia allowing him to workaround the exclusivity problem he encountered.
What is more, as Latvia is part of European Union, our customer received a VAT number and was not a subject to any customs duties and/or declaration.
